The Colt Defender is a compact 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP and configured with a 3-inch barrel for convenient carry. Its blued finish covers the compact slide and frame, while the traditional single-action 1911 operating system combines a manual thumb safety with a beavertail grip safety. Fixed combat sights support straightforward target acquisition, and the textured G10 grip panels provide a secure hold. This Shooter's Model is new in the box but may exhibit a minor manufacturing-related finish imperfection that is not covered by Colt's one-year warranty.
