The Colt Lightweight Commander is a .45 ACP 1911-style pistol designed to provide classic single-action performance in a more carry-friendly package. Its aluminum alloy frame reduces weight, while the carbon steel slide provides a durable operating platform. Novak white-dot low-mount sights support fast target acquisition, and the checkered Black Cherry G10 grips provide a secure hold. A beavertail grip safety, manual thumb safety, and dual recoil spring system add practical control for both carry and range use. This Shooter's Model is new in the box with a slight manufacturing-related finish imperfection that may be difficult to see and is not covered by Colt's one-year warranty.
