The Kel-Tec RDB Defender is a compact 5.56 NATO bullpup rifle designed for balanced handling and intuitive operation. Its gas-operated action uses a patented downward-ejection system, allowing spent cases to exit below the rifle and making the platform suitable for right- or left-handed users. The reversible operating handle, ambidextrous magazine controls, and ambidextrous manual safety further support flexible handling. A 17.4-inch barrel delivers useful ballistic performance while the compact bullpup layout keeps the rifle maneuverable. The full-length top rail provides a practical mounting surface for an optic.
