Serial no. 70995. Manufactured in May 1945 (Showa 20.5) at the Toriimatsu factory under Nagoya Arsenal supervision, chambered in 8mm Nambu, 4.5″ round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching, including the magazine and wooden grips. The majority of the late-war finish remains, with the distinctive simplified “slab” wooden grips showing only light handling wear. Manufactured during the final months of WWII, this pistol displays the simplified construction and finishing characteristic of late Japanese Type 94 production. A particularly interesting late-war example due to its May 1945 production date, matching numbered components, and high degree of remaining finish. Comes complete with brown leather holster.
