SN: 6153. 1960’s vintage 6mm Rem with a 24″ barrel. Custom rifle made by legendary gunsmith P.O. Ackley on a commercial Mauser action. The receiver is marked “P.O. Ackley/Salt Lake City, Utah” indicating his shop made the complete rifle, not just re-barreled an existing rifle. The stock is checkered walnut with rosewood forend tip and pistol grip cap. The floor plate is quick release. The rifle shows some use and wear, overall condition is very good.
