The Rock Island Armory GI Standard FS is a full-size 1911 pistol chambered in 9mm. Its single-action semi-automatic design combines the familiar 1911 manual of arms with a 10+1 capacity. The five-inch steel barrel and steel frame provide a balanced platform for range use, training, and everyday practice. A Blue/Black finish gives the pistol a durable, non-reflective appearance, while black synthetic grip panels provide a secure, traditional hold. Fixed low-profile sights support a clean, snag-resistant draw and straightforward target acquisition.
