The Ruger American Rimfire Standard is a versatile bolt-action rifle designed for small-game hunting, pest control, target shooting, and informal plinking. Its free-floating 18-inch barrel features a target crown and 1/2x28 threading, allowing compatible muzzle devices or suppressors to be installed when legally permitted. The black synthetic composite stock includes interchangeable comb modules for comfortable alignment with either a scope or the factory iron sights. A Ruger Marksman Adjustable Trigger provides a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight, while the detachable 9-round rotary magazine supports convenient field use. Williams fiber optic sights, a tang-mounted manual safety, and a lightweight 5.55-pound design complete this practical rimfire platform.
