This blade measure 24.5″ long and is brightly polished. It appears to have a suguha hamon, but it is difficult to see. The tang is mumei with two mekugiana. This word is in very good WWII mounts. Accompanying this sword is a letter from the daughter of the Major who Brought it back from WWII. This sword was surrendered to him in the Philippines from Japanese officers in 1945.
