The Zastava Arms ZPAP M90 combines classic Serbian AK construction with the versatility of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. Its durable 1.5 millimeter bulged receiver and trunnion support reliable long-term use, while the cold hammer forged, chrome-lined 18.25-inch barrel provides corrosion resistance and extended bore life. A 1:7 twist rate stabilizes common 5.56 NATO projectile weights, and the adjustable gas block allows the shooter to tune the rifle's operation. Walnut furniture adds traditional character, while the Yugo-style side rail accepts compatible optic mounts. Standard AKM sights and a manual bolt-hold-open safety complete the practical configuration.
